This is the finished Abstract Pot...I hate it, but the object was to experiment with color and to get as much color in it as possible so I suppose I succeeded at that.
Started a new painting today...it is "semi" abstract. I'm going to do some more work on the background, probably make it dark so the pot pops out more.

This is a woodcut I'm working on for Printmaking class. We take a block of wood and carve a design into it. Then we put ink on it and print in on paper...like a stamp. This is a "self-portrait" and the designs/quilt in the background represent organized chaos...(story of my life) haha. It's not a very high quality picture...sorry.
I made a candle holder for mine and Martha's room today because our candle is ugly! I also had to make some other things...we'll call them vases, for now.
This is my and Martha's room at the KD house. We worked hard all summer to get it all put together and we're really proud of it. Recently some people from Justine magazine based out of Memphis came and took pictures of it so we may possibly be in a magazine!
This is the first painting from my painting class. I haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet but my teacher swears we will all be pros in a few weeks so here's hoping!

Currently I'm being run ragged by a die-hard ceramics teacher who thinks I should devote all my time to pot making. Here are a few of the things I've been scrambling to create over the past few weeks.
So I figure this is easier than sending out a dozen e-mails a month to a huge list of people. This way nobody ever gets left out and you can all see what's going on!
